FAQ

Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?

No. You have the legal right to choose any repair shop you trust, regardless of which shops your insurance company suggests. Insurance-recommended shops aren't required by law, and choosing your own shop won't affect your coverage or claim.

Will getting my car repaired at an independent shop void my warranty?

No. Using an independent, non-dealership shop like ours does not void your vehicle's manufacturer warranty. Federal law protects your right to choose where your car is repaired without losing warranty coverage.

How long will my collision repair take?

Repair time depends on the extent of the damage, parts availability, and insurance approval timelines. Minor repairs may take a few days, while more extensive structural or frame work can take one to two weeks or more. We'll give you a clear timeline after your inspection.

Do you use OEM parts for repairs?

We prioritize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever possible to ensure proper fit, safety, and performance. In some cases, insurance may request aftermarket parts, and we'll always discuss your options with you before moving forward.

What is ADAS calibration, and why does it matter after a collision?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes safety features like lane-departure warnings, automatic braking, and adaptive cruise control. These systems rely on precisely aligned sensors and cameras. After a collision, even minor bumper or windshield work can throw off calibration, so we recalibrate ADAS systems to make sure they function correctly and keep you safe.

Can I get my car repaired without filing an insurance claim?

Yes. If the damage is minor or you'd prefer to pay out of pocket, we're happy to provide a free estimate and complete the repair without involving your insurance company.

What happens if my car is declared a total loss?

If your insurance company determines that repair costs exceed your vehicle's value, it may be declared a total loss. We can help you understand the assessment and, if you disagree, assist in advocating for a fair valuation or a second opinion.

Do you offer towing or vehicle pickup after an accident?

We can help coordinate towing to get your vehicle safely to our shop after a collision. Give us a call as soon as possible after an accident so we can guide you through the next steps.

How do I know if my car needs a wheel alignment after an accident?

Signs your car may need an alignment include the vehicle pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, or a steering wheel that isn't centered when driving straight. Even low-speed collisions can knock alignment out of spec, so we check this as part of our inspection process.

What should I do immediately after a collision?

First, check for injuries and move to a safe location if possible. Call the police to file a report, exchange insurance information with the other driver, and take photos of the damage and scene. Once you're safe, call us for a free estimate and we'll help guide you through the rest of the process.
